SMU Rules & Regulations

The City of Cincinnati's Stormwater Mangement Utility (SMU) is operated as part of MSD. Documents related to the Rules & Regulations are available here. These documents require you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, available from link at right side of this page.

• SMU Rules & Regulations (3.8 MB): This document contains the general rules pertaining to the Stormwater Management Utility.
• Stormwater Management Code (1.1 MB): Included with copies of SMU's Rules & Regulations as Appendix A, this is Chapter 720 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code. It has been separated here to reduce the size of the individual downloads.
• Post-Construction Stormwater Regulations (203 KB): These regulations' purpose is to promote and maintain the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the city of Cincinnati by establishing standards for storm water best management practices (BMPs).
