System Wide Model Team
The System Wide Model (SWM) Project is managed by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC), while construction of the Model was supported by a team of consulting firms. CDM was the lead consultant, while other team members included R. D. Zande (RDZ), Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI), Environmental Technical Company (ETC), Vieux and Associates, Inc. (VAI), and several other sub-consultants.
Unique to most municipal projects, the team shared office space for the duration of the SWM project. This arrangement provided better coordination and facilitation of project tasks in a true team approach. The ability to interact daily with other members of the project team facilitated a smooth and rapid exchange of information, as well as an enhanced understanding of the countless building blocks that make up the Model.
