The Mertropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC) has issued a schedule for upcoming Outreach Events for the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program during the 2013 calendar year. Historical Context

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC) is a department in the City of Cincinnati.  However, the Sewer District is owned by Hamilton County.  MSD, under a 50 year agreement, operates the Sewer District for Hamilton County.

Hamilton County and the City of Cincinnati are committed to increasing business opportunities for small businesses which will enhance and grow the Greater Cincinnati economy we are proud to serve.

Through the administration of the SBE Program by MSDGC, promoting equal business opportunity for small businesses and ensuring non-discrimination in the award and administration of MSDGC contracts/procurements is a primary objective. MSDGC aspires to increase the participation of small businesses in all aspects of MSGCD contracting; including contracting or subcontracting with Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) directly or indirectly and through procurement activities. Currently MSDGC is not a certifying agency. Therefore, MSDGC seeks to identify those small businesses that can be certified by approved public certifying entities then register with the MSD SBE Program.
