SEALED Statements of Qualifications will be received by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC):

UNTIL 1:30 PM ON Tuesday, FEBRUARY 23, 2010

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC), Wastewater Collection Division (WWC), requests qualifications statements from interested applicants who have demonstrated experience with large diameter sewer cleaning services.  Qualified applicants will be selected to provide some or all of the following services:

  • Cleaning and inspection of interceptor sewers greater than 42 inches in diameter;
  • Collection, removal, transportation and legal disposal of debris;
  • Traffic Control, and
  • Documentation of activities.

Services will be provided within the MSDGC service area.  The intent of cleaning the large diameter sewer pipes is to restore the sewer line to a minimum of 95 percent of its original carrying capacity.  The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to develop a pool of qualified contractors who have the means, experience and capability to clean large diameter sewers.  Once a qualified pool of contractors is established in response to this RFQ, the proposal process will continue with this ‘shortlist’ of qualified proposers for each phase of work to be performed. Selection will be made based upon qualifications in accordance with the provisions of this RFQ.

As of Tuesday, February 2, 2010, the Request for Qualifications may be obtained by e-mail request to kelvin.huseman@cincinnati-oh.gov. The e-mail must contain the requestors main contact information including the primary point of contact, mailing address, company name, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address. MSDGC will not be responsible or liable for written communications that are not received by the bidder due to inaccurate contact information.  MSDGC strongly encourages prospective parties to frequently monitor the MSDGC website (www.msdgc.org) for project updates and addenda.
