Cincinnati, September 19, 2007 - The Board of County Commissioners recently approved funding for the Wulff Run Replacement Sewer. Managed by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), a construction contract has been awarded to the Fields Excavating Company, Kitts Hill, Ohio. Construction is scheduled to begin October 1, 2007 and is expected to be completed by January 1, 2008.
This project will replace a deteriorated sewer between Wulff Run Road and Chapel View Court and provide an increased level of service in the area. The project will involve the installation of 233 feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer. The awarded construction cost of the project is $269,303.75.
This project is part of MSD’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is focused on continually updating and improving the operation of MSD’s wastewater collection and treatment systems.
