Symmes Township, May 23, 2007 - The Board of County Commissioners recently approved funding for the Polk Run WWTP Expansion, Phase 3A- Polk Run Pump Station Elimination. Managed by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD), construction is scheduled to begin May 28, 2007 and is expected to be completed by end of October 2007.
The project generally consists of the installation of 454 L.F. of 42 inch conduit along East Kemper Road and 20 L.F. of 16 inch conduit, including manholes and other sewer appurtenances. The awarded construction cost of the project is $ 398,010.
This project is part of MSD’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which is focused on continually updating and improving the operation of MSD’s wastewater collection and treatment systems.
