The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) has completed a sewer construction project in Green Township. The purpose of the construction was to replace an old and deteriorated sewer line along Bridgetown Road and Virginia Court.
Managed by MSD, Rack and Ballauer Excavating Company of Cincinnati began construction at an existing manhole across the street from a home at 5663 Bridgetown Road and extended west along Bridgetown Road to the intersection of Virginia Court. The construction then continued north to an existing manhole in front of 3847 Virginia Court. The project began in July 2007 and was completed in September 2007.
Every day, the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) manages the effective collection and treatment of more than 200 million gallons of wastewater and actively maintains 3,000 miles of sanitary and combined sewers that run through the 49 municipalities and townships of Hamilton County.
